Die Hamburger Hallig im norddeutschen Wattenmeer - Luftbild | Auf der Hamburger Hallig gibt es vor allem Naturerlebnisse und einige besondere Einrichtungen: - 1. Der Hallig-Krog – das einzige Gebäude auf der Hallig, eine Gaststätte mit regionaler Küche, die von Frühjahr bis Herbst geöffnet ist. Im Sommer finden dort Grillabende statt. - 2. Wattwerkstatt – eine interaktive Erlebnisausstellung am Nationalpark, in der man mit Schaufeln im Watt nach Meerestieren sucht und durchs Mikroskop blickt. - 3. NABU-Naturparkstation auf dem Schafberg (Claus-Jürgen-Reitmann-Haus) – liegt auf halber Strecke zum Damm, im Sommer von Freiwilligen besetzt, die über die Vogelwelt informieren. Die breite Veranda bietet auch Wetterschutz. - 4. Badestelle – eine unbewachte, naturnahe Badestelle in den Salzwiesen, nur bei Flut begehbar (bis zu 3 Stunden vor/nach der Tide). - 5. Salzwiesen-Lehrpfad – ein ausgewiesener Naturpfad (ab ca. 2 km vom Schafberg) über Rotschenkel, Austernfischer, Strandflieder und Strandastern. - 6. Vogelbeobachtung – im Frühling und Herbst rasten hier bis zu 30.000 Weißwangengänse; die Hallig ist ein bedeutendes Brut- und Rastgebiet. • - 7. Geführte Wattwanderungen – von Mai bis September ab dem Hallig-Krog. - 8. Sturmflutpfahl – dokumentiert die größten Sturmfluten seit 1362. - 9. Historischer Bauernhof auf der Hauptwarft – heute Teil des Hallig-Krog-Geländes.
